This historic 96-year old course has long been a favorite of expert and novice golfers alike, offering the perfect mix of challenge and fun. It was designed by famed golf course architect Donald Ross and it still retains his classic touch. In fact, it's considered vintage Ross, an historic course that is a special part of Motor City sports history.
The New Rogell is a property of Greater Grace Temple , which is located just across the way from the course, and is "the only African-American owned course in Michigan, one of only "6" nationwide. The church bought the course from the city in 2004 and has beautifully upgraded and enhanced the facility.
